Bonding composite to teeth has been done for a long time in dentistry. The technology allowing us to effectively bond to teeth more recently has come a long way and means dentists have been more creative and progressive with how materials are used. Composite veneers are a method used to help improve the appearance of teeth whilst minimising any damage to your existing teeth.
Some of the advantages of cosmetic bonding are:
1. It is less invasive and does not necessarily involve drilling teeth.
2. It it easy to manipulate and change and polish.
3. It can match the shade of the teeth and blend into your smile.

How long do composite veneers last?
We get asked this an awful lot. The truth is that it does vary between individuals. If you smoke, drink lots of tea or coffee or you don't look after your teeth through good brushing they might only last a 2-3 years before needing to be replaced. However if well maintained then they may last more than 7 years.
